Judge Yolanda Huff is the presiding judge of County Court 12 and the Mental Health Court in San Antonio, Texas. With over two decades of legal experience as a solo practitioner before taking the bench in 2019, Judge Huff has devoted her career to justice, mental health advocacy, and community empowerment. She is the founder and chair of the Bexar County Specialty Courts Coalition, created to raise awareness and educate the public about the transformative power of specialty courts. Her service extends beyond the courtroom—she has been appointed to boards such as NAMI, the Texas Association of Specialty Courts, and the Texas Judicial Commission on Mental Health.

A passionate public servant, Judge Huff has received numerous accolades, including the Distinguished Jurist Award (2023), the Peace and Justice Award (2023), and her 2024 induction into the San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame. She is a two-time past president of the San Antonio Black Lawyers Association and remains active in organizations like the NAACP and CBTU. A proud mother of three, Judge Huff finds balance through reading, family time, hiking, and marathon running—living out her mission to educate, uplift, and bring justice with compassion.
